Mohamed El-Erian is a world-class economist and financier, and I'm delighted to strongly support his bid to become the next Chancellor of Cambridge. I’m convinced Mohamed would make a brilliant Chancellor and ambassador for Cambridge on the global stage.

It has been a privilege getting to know Mohamed over the past 4 years. His passion for the student journey, knowledge of our collegiate University and calm headed understanding of the world are a rare combination. And, in my view, just the combination we need in our Chancellor right now. He would serve us well.

It’s always a relief to hear Mohamed El-Erian on the news making sense of the latest troubling happenings in the global economy and markets. It would be so wonderful for Cambridge to have the benefit of his wisdom, good sense and calmness in these ever-more turbulent times.
