The Lord Woolley of Woodford

I think the prospect of Mohamed becoming the Chancellor of Cambridge University is really important and important for now.

Cambridge and education more generally is facing huge challenges.

You want somebody that loves the university, that understands the university, that is a global beacon, that will speak to different constituencies to ensure that they belong.

This good man does all of that and more.

I think if we elected him, of course he would make history, but he would be a wonderful ambassador for Cambridge University.
